Potentia Renewables intends to develop a wind power electrical generation project and a substation. The project will be constructed on privately owned lands near the town of Jenner, Alberta. The Jenner Wind Power Project (JWPP) area encompasses approximately 97.5 quarter sections, totalling approximately 6362 hectares. McCallum Environmental completed the environmental assessments for the Project, and assisted with AUC applications.  The proposed location is a mixture of:

  • native prairie lands
  • roads
  • farmyards
  • storage areas
  • wetlands
